'TWAS THE DAY BEFORE CHRISTMAS
and all through the House, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
But in the Senate, many Democ"rats" wanted to blare
about their great accomplishment of "reforming" health care.
The citizenry were nestled all snug in their beds
all the while their economy was being screwed up by the Feds.
When the vote came down, Mama awoke from her nap
in a cold sweat wondering how we could ever pay for this crap.
When it ended the lefties congratulated leader Harry
which made this new reality all the more scary.
Harry appreciated the support from his entire caucus
then proceeded to name them all from the Nelsons to Baucus.
Thank you Dodd, Lincoln, Lieberman, and Schumer;
just hearing their names put me in bad humor.
And Sanders, Feingold, Leahy, and Franken,
frighten me to think the depths our country had sank in.
Our nation was founded on responsibility and freedom,
but our Democrat friends figured we'd no longer need 'em.
So there they went ignoring our Constitution,
to get 60 votes by way of legislative prostitution.
Exemptions and kickbacks were bandied about
while the concerns of the people were completely left out.
Tea parties and town halls didn't really much matter
when leftists had the chance to make government fatter.
Although it's a done deal we shall not pout.
The best way to change it now is to throw the bums out!

HORRIBLE U.S. HEALTH CARE SYSTEM TO BLAME
It looks like those rich doctors, big pharmaceutical corporations, and fat cat insurance companies are at it again conspiring to cause average American life expectancy to rise to 78 years of age according to a study by the Centers for Disease Control. A breakdown of the study shows that women can look forward to 80 years while men have 75. With results like that it's no wonder why Democrats want to demolish our health care system.
