ABOUT ME
I'm a born and bred Chicagoan from the suburb of Franklin Park. It's funny how suburbanites always say they're from Chicago as if they live in the city proper while those who actually live within the city limits mention the neighborhood they live in like Rogers Park or Bridgeport rather than Chicago. Either way, I'm from the area, and I've been in and around this great city enough to claim it. I couldn't imagine being from or living in any other part of the world. There is so much to do here, and you can get enough of a taste of different things and people that you'll feel like you've been around the world a time or two just running normal errands. Not to say that I don't like visiting other places, but I'm content to be here and proud to be from here. I'm also quite proud and fortunate to be an American. That waving flag at the top of the page doesn't just look cool, it represents the most succesful experiment in freedom and liberty that the world has ever known.
You can probably tell some of my interests just by looking at the tool bar to the left. I'm a sports nut, and I have always been interested in politics. I cover high school sports for Pioneer Press Newspapers, and I co-host a radio show called "SPORTSLINE" that airs on Sundays at 11 a.m. on AM-750, WNDZ. I will post my high school articles on here, but you can find the most recent ones at www.pioneerlocal.com, and you can check out more info about the radio show and hear archived programs at www.zforcemedia.com.
